TekTrek began in Cambridge. In June the cohort trekked to San Francisco to build; on August 12 the round trip completes at MIT, where a curated selection of the summer's strongest teams pitch what they've built.

The showcase is recorded and streamed live. Founders, mentors, investors, and the wider MIT community join in person at the Stata Center or online; West Coast investors are calling in.

MONDAY, AUG 10 · ARRIVAL

The cohort lands in Boston and settles in. Pitch prep at Liquid AI in Cambridge. Closed, no guests.

TUESDAY, AUG 11 · REHEARSAL, THEN ED BAKER'S

Final rehearsals at Liquid AI, still closed. In the evening, an Imagination in Action programmed Science Dinner at Ed Baker's home in Cambridge, where a few teams showcase; no formal pitches. Ed led international growth at Facebook, product and growth at Uber, and is now CPO at WHOOP.

WEDNESDAY, AUG 12 · THE SHOWCASE

THURSDAY, AUG 13 · VILLA ROSA

The cohort travels to Martha's Vineyard for the closing day at Villa Rosa in Oak Bluffs, co-hosted by Valerie Mosley and Bernard. Theme: Building Wealth for Everyone. A few informal pitches, then working sessions on building companies that lift everyone, and where AI fits.
