Labs like 1x and Sunday are just beginning to deploy robots to homes. The state-of-the-art robots can wash dishes or fold laundry, but none of them really know what the user wants or how they should behave unprompted.
The bigger problem is, nobody has the preference data from real homes, or the infrastructure to collect it, which is critical to train robot behavior.
Memora will be the first to supply this data at scale, by building a network of households in the US to gather high-quality human robot interaction data and annotating it with our proprietary pipelines.
We already have 19 committed households for cohort 1. We’ll deliver 3000+ annotated hours by October, with more to come soon.
