Chemical plants are designed and run in legacy software like Aspen and Aveva: clunky, local-only, built on Fortran, with little AI integration, and the models used to design a plant are isolated from the models used to run it. Plant data is siloed, proprietary, and often exists only as paperwork and PDFs.
Alluvyum is building a modern platform spanning design, simulation, and industrial control across petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, pharma, and materials. The eventual moat is the data layer accumulated from working with customers.
The team is in early design-partner talks with two Asian chemical companies, one in petrochemicals and one in specialty adhesives, while building the MVP.
